1 people generally use high magnetic suction stainless steel globe valve, if not suction is stainless steel globe valve, if suction is not stainless steel globe valve. But this method can only distinguish the general, is not very accurate, very easy to judge the error. Because of the stainless steel globe valve's main component, nickel (Ni) will be high magnetic absorption, and it is not accurate to determine whether the stainless steel globe valve.

2 scientific method is to conduct chemical analysis of the composition of stainless steel globe valve, through chemical analysis to determine the carbon, chromium, nickel, molybdenum, silicon, manganese, phosphorus and other components in the stainless steel globe valve, and then determine whether it is a qualified stainless steel globe valve. General good stainless steel globe valve, carbon does not contain more than 0.08%, sulfur and phosphorus contain not more than 0.035%, but the specific composition is according to different brands to determine. More commonly used stainless steel globe valve grades 304, 316.

Stainless steel globe valves are usually divided into:

Ferrite stainless steel ball valve. Contains 12% ~ 30% chromium. Its corrosion resistance, toughness and weldability are improved with the increase of chromium content.

Austenitic stainless steel globe valve. Contains chromium more than 18%, also contains about 8% nickel and a small amount of molybdenum, titanium, nitrogen and other elements. Good comprehensive performance, can withstand a variety of media corrosion.

Austenitic-ferrite double phase stainless steel globe valve. Both austenite and ferrite stainless steel globe valve advantages, and has a super - plastic.

Martensite stainless steel globe valve. High strength, but poor plasticity and weldability.
